Kia Ora readers in CIP this week we watched a new video about kindness. We watched it because we are focusing on being kind to people ,and now I am going to tell you what happened on the video.
There was a little girl with her grandma and brother they were going to buy food for their grandpa that was having a birthday. The little girl went to get her grandpa a cheese cake for his birthday and she quickly handed it to her grandma when they got to the counter to purchase what they had, they didn't have enough money to buy all of it. So the grandma decided to put the cake back so that they will have enough money to buy the other food. As they were leaving outside the super market a man in the queue saw that they didn't have enough money to buy the cake so he bought the cake for them and quickly sprinted outside to give it to the little girl and her family. When the man was giving it to them he said to the little girl "Here have it" the grandma quickly responded "We can't accept that", after the grandma said no, the man started to tell a story when he was a little kid and was on the same super market. He told them that when he was a little kid him and his mother was going to buy a birthday cake for his birthday, but sadly they didn't have enough money and his mother told him that they will buy something else for his birthday but when a man in the queue saw the little kid he bought the cake that he wanted and wrote something on a piece of paper. When they heard the mans story they accepted it and said thank you, when the grandma was asking what was his name he said he was just the man in the counter. When they got home the little girl gave the yummy cheese cake to his grandpa. The little girls grandpa was actually the man that bought the cake for the man in the queue when he was a little bit younger.
