Greetings everyone,
Today I will be telling you on of the most challenging thing I have ever done in ESOL for this term. And this was about making a story with at least 150 words minimum but we needed to include these three words on our story and this were, contemplate, courageous and cornucopia. This was fun and as well challenging since I didn't know some of the words including contemplate and cornucopia. And this was fun because I had a chance to learn this words that I have never heard of. Overall making this story was fun because I got to write a story which I enjoyed writing.
Here is a story that I have made with only 267 words in total:
It was Monday morning at school where it was quiet, dauntingly quiet. It was the assessment day in Joshua’s class, it was a History test. Joshua was about to contemplate his work sheet as soon as the teacher handed it out but as he was skimming through the test sheet the teacher snatched it off of his hand and faced it down.” We’ll now begin the test, you can now flip up the test sheet” the teacher ordered out. Joshua flipped up the paper so fast wanting to finish it first even though he didn’t like tests.
The first thing he saw first was a printed out image of a cornucopia and questions about it and the history behind it. Joshua knew the answer to some of the questions about cornucopia on the sheet since he was studying last night about it, but he just can’t exactly remember it. He was stuck at the very first question about the cornucopia while he saw his classmates zooming through the test. But he was very courageous and he wanted to finish the work sheet even though he didn’t like doing tests. So he thought deeper in his mind trying to figure out the question about this cornucopia.
Finally he remembered. The pencil on his hand wrote down the answer so fast that the tip of the pencil snapped, but he was happy since he answered the question. He took another pencil out of his bag and quickly went back on the test. Fortunately all the questions were a breeze and he luckily finished the test first and submitted it.
Hello Miguel I love your story and I love the word cornucopia but where did you get it from? but unfortunately the words went off the screen. so I hope you can find a way to fix it -Daniel
