Summer learning Journey

Kia Ora Emma I'm Miguel a year 7 student in Hornby High School, the thing I really like about school is when we get a chance to do some creative writing and doing some maths, I have now registered for the summer learning journey. I am looking forward to earning a lot of points on every blog posts I make and I am also looking forward to getting a lot of comments so I can reply to them and earn more points! The topic I am excited about is "Physical Limits" Sport and Exploration, I like this topic because I really like physical stuff and sports. By the end of the summer break I hope to earn awesome prizes for the blog posts that I have made.

  1. Kia ora Miguel!

My name is Mikey and I work with Emma in the Uru Manuka Summer Learning Journey team. I'll be commenting on some of your blog posts over the summer. I'm so pleased that you've decided to register for the programme - I can't wait to read all of your wonderful posts! :)

Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself as well. One of my favourite parts about working on the Summer Learning Journey is learning about students from all over the country. I love sports too. When I was at school, my favourite subject was P.E. What's your favourite sport?

I'm sure Emma's told you but remember that the programme officially starts next Monday (December 16th) so be sure to jump online and check out the Week 1 activities then. In the meantime, have a go at some of the teaser week activities.

    Bye for now,

    Mikey :)
